no current to my blower motor

Post by chichitsai »

If anyone can help me.
My volvo s70 2000's heater/ac has stopped working.
I have decided to take out the blower and check if there is actually current going to it (as instructed in other forums) and realize that there is actually no current when i start my car and put the heater to the maximum.
What should I do now? Is there something else I should check?

Find the blower resistor pack back up under the dash there and check the voltage leading into that. If that's got current, that's your problem. If it doesn't, go back to the dash and pull the ECC unit out. Test the wires going into and out of it.

I assume you checked fuses before you took out the whole blower?

your next step... would be to pay a large price... or go to a junk yard and get one for alot cheaper. unless you can fix your blower.
