No whipers/washer on S70

Just got a 1998 S70 and after washing the car discovered that the windshield whipers and washer aren't operating. moving the control lever doesn't have any effect at all. I don't think it's a fuse as the horn -listed as on the same fuse - works fine. So.....???

perhaps the relay is dead, or the Stick [lever for the wipers] is it self broken. the plastic around the steering wheel pops up allowing you to get access and take it out to check

I found the fuse - it's OK. But where's the relay for the wiper/washer? I'll pop off the plastic cover around the steering column too and take a look at the wiper control.

On an 850 the relay is number 203 and it's blue (I'm color blind so I might be wrong). The realys are underneath the driver side dash. You have to crawl under there, undo 3 t-25 screws and drop down the knee bolster. Then you have to crawl way under the foot well and you will see the relays inside.

Took the car into my mechanic to let him solve the problem. Thanks anyway, but electrical stuff is just not my best suit!

It turned out to be just a loose connection in the plugin from the wiper/washer arm switch - an easy fix
