xc70 2003 High Beams just flash

Post by levecqan »

Hi ...When I pull in my turn signal the high beams are on only as long as I keep it pulled in. Suspect relay. Has anyone had this problem and what was the solution.
Also the car jack that comes with it seems inadequate for the weight and stripped on the thread. Any recalls on these?
Thx

No idea on the jack, but on the headlight's do you have the headlight's turned on at the switch to the left of the steering wheel? If not then the high beams will not stay engaged.

IF THE HEAD LIGHT SWITCH IS IN THE 9 O'CLOCK, position it will work as you just described. Place it in the 12:00 AND ALL WILL BE WELL.

I can't comment on the jack. Mine has worked perfectly the 2 times I've used it. Check at a salvage yard for a used one if your's is stripped. Wonder how THAT happened???
