If it's on the top of the cylinder head, the oil could be leaking from the cam cover gasket or it could have been spilled. If it's not a lot, just wipe it off and reassemble everything.
If it's in the cylinder (showing on the electrode surfaces of the plug), the rings are probably shot or you have bad valve guide seals in that cylinder. Engine disassembly is required to fix those.

Hello franrico, 1) Get the Haynes manual for your car. It's not the best resource but will help you alot. 2) Get a code reader and include codes in your posts. Everybody's in the dark if we don't know the Diagnostic Trouble Code(s). Note: Some auto parts stores offer to read your codes for free; many do not. Frequently, members say these stores will never hit the "clear" or "erase" button for you. That means you cannot determine any rate of recurrence of your problem. The bottom line there is; it's a sales gimmic. They want you to buy a code reader from them. Wherever you buy it, get one which is CAN compatable. Many which are on clearance sale are old ones which aren't. You can use it for years to come and you'll make friends all over the place. Happy New Year, Kira
