radiator inlet hose

hey all,
I'm trying to install a radiator flush kit on my '93 940 turbo wagon and can't tell which is the inlet hose. the two hoses coming from the firewall kind of meander off into a dark area where I can't tell what's going on(if it's going into the water pump or the engine block). any help appreciated.

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

The upper hose is the inlet.
