my volvo s40 2.4i 2007 was subjected to an installation of a power steering pump but the pump came out of a Volvo S40 2.4i 2006 and the steering wheel is so hard I'm not sure if the car needs some sort of programming and how do I know if the programming is just what is required to work
anyone can help me with that please?

It sounds like the pump is not working properly. Can you take it back to the mechanic and have him fix it?
