Disc-3 Error
Disc-3 Error
I have a 2001 C70 Vert with a SC-901 Radio with a 3 disc changer. All was will ,until I started to push some buttons trying to get to the next disc. The head of the changer with the cartridge ejected itself from the unit. It is sticking and won't go back in and I can't get the cartridge out of it . It reads "Disc-3 Error". Anyone ever encounter this problem? Any fixes ? Thanks

That's the same reason VCR's are a by-gone technology. I was watching some old movies the other night, and the stupid thing at the tape and got it stuck.
At this point, I would remove the radio from the dash (there are 2 tabs - one on each side of the radio) - push those in with your key and they'll pop out and enable you to pull the thing out. Then, unplug it from the back and take off the top shell, and see if you can figure out what's jammed up on it. It may just need some gentle pressure on the mechanism and it will come un-stuck.
Make sure you've got your radio code
