Transmission Flush not recommended for 850's
I called vividracing today and ask them how much for transmission flush...the person siad that he would not recommend it since my car has high miles (114k)!?!
He said that it would do more harm than good. What are you guys reaction on this??? I bought this car last month and don't see any record of trasmission service.

I would agree. If you dont know the service history of the trans, leave it alone. I flushed mine(141k) and now the trans is shot. Should have just put some lucas in it and stopped there.

I'm no pro, but I did mine for the first time at about 110K and it worked out great, I did the method on this forum, I didn't bring it in for a "powerflush" or anything like that. I am pretty sure it had never been done before since I when I bought the 10 year old car with 90K miles it still had the original fuel filter.

Do NOT have it flushed by a shop. They will use a power flusher thing that will destroy the insides of your transmission.
If you don't know that it's been done before, I would start by draining the pan and refilling it with 3-4 qts of fluid, whatever comes out of it. Drive for about 2 weeks, then do the same thing agian.
After that, you could probably put it through a whole flush and it would be just fine. Mine had never been done before, has 170K miles on it now, and I've put it through a drain and fill and 2 whole flushes as done on the site here.

I agree with jablackburn. Do not flush the trans. The best thing to do is to do a drain and fill as documented on this site.

Some do, some don't.
Just do a couple of drain and fills
