95 850T Turbo whistling noise above Odometer

I had to do some work on the Odometer and when I put everyting back (after a long job) the Turbo hose on top of the
instrument box started whistling. Especially when on higher RPMs.
Anyone has some good insulation ideas or how to fix this or insulate the litte pipe end that attaches to the back of the instruments?
I tried teflon and some eletrical tape but so far no luck. The turbo gauge works fine- it`s just the unnerving whistling noise
that keeps me awake in the late night rides.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the tip of the hose cracked? If so, just snip the end off and push the hose back on. There is more then enough length in the hose to do this.
