Proper spark plugs and gap

Post by walterschweigert »

I am looking at replacing the plugs with Volvo number 8692071.

Can anyone confirm that these are the correct plugs and tell me what the proper gap is?

Is the a direct Bosch equivalent part number for individual plugs?

I don't know but if you ordered plugs for your year you should be fine
.28-.30 is fine
If you buy Volvo plugs they come pre-gapped

Respectfully...I never trust pre-gapped plugs. Just like the pre-washed salad in the bag at the grocery store....I always find sand in it.

JRL: Are you the same JRL that posts over at XCVOLVO.COM?? IF so,... small world isn't it. Thanks.
