hi guys,i have just bought a volvo s70 t5 1999 ex-police motorway car (undercover)just replaced the etm unit from a 1999 c70 t5 works fine.is the ecu upgrade the best way to go as i have heard it does not like mbc,dump valves est,,,thanks steve..

Yes, on a '99, that is probably the best route to go. There are several companies that do tunes, so do a bit of shopping around and comparing before jumping at one of them.

Two other things you could look into would be an improved turbo control valve and heavy-duty compressor bypass valve, especially if you are looking to up the power with a tune as well. Many add a free-flowing exhaust system at the same time. Take a look at IPD's site (http://www.ipdusa.com) for lots of performance parts.

hello any 1 put a bigger intercooler on a volvo s70 t5 1999,i have a mitsubishi evo mr400 intercooler sat in the shed guna put it on any info wood be fab thanks steve..

About 9 psi stock. Make sure you've got your car up to Stage 0 before you go about doing anything to increase it's power.

yeah will do,its started its life as a police car it a norfolk blue, just done 200.000 just had it serviced,all disks and pads drilled and grooved mintex pads,drop links,3"stainless from the cat,totaly stripped inside 1x bucket seat.still sweet as a nut no smoke,taps,bang from it,..

hi guys just took my volvo t5 1999 for the mot passed 1st time,heres the problem-as it was standing on the ramps it started to miss fire and poping sound, and is blowing a little smoke out at the same time,not oil its like a sutty smoke from the exhaust,the engine mag light is on solid any ideas please thanks...
