hello all...lost the key to my 99 with a chip in it. I have a parts car and replaced the ignition along with the ring around the key that lights up and (i think) reads the keys chip. I figured that was all that was ness but the car will not stat. turns over like a champ but no start.
Do i need to swap the ecu along with the rest? I would have volvo make a key from the vin but I don't have a title in my name yet.
Anyone here work at a dealership or know how to get a key made without proof of ownership?
