Cyliner head removal

How do you remove the cylinder head on a 2000 Volvo S70 2.4 engine? I am trying to replace the head gasket.

There is a whole thread on that subject. I believe you have to have special tools to put the head back on, and you will have to buy, or make the cam tool. Haynes has a simple way to make the tool It is also linked on the site. You should be able to bring it up with a simple search.

check ebay.com there is a guy who seels the 4 tools to replace the head and time the engine. 999-5451, 999-5452, 999-5453, 999-5454
