SRS light (do I have to go to the dealer?)

While trying to get my ipod interface to work on my 01 V70 T5. I had the battery unplugged. When I reconnected the bat. Low and behold SRS warning. Not to mention the USASpec interface will not work either.

A dealer or an independent Volvo shop. I had to. Everybody told me i had to.
