Remove center console in 96 850

Post by kastel1960 »

I concluded that one of the power windows is no longer working because of a faulty switch. I never understood why the switches are mounted in the center console, below the cup holders, nevertheless...

In any case, I need to replace the switches and wiring, but have not been able to remove the center console. I do not want to apply to much pressure, as I already cracked some of the plastic trim.

Any suggestions? Thank You!

thx for the reply... I didn't see anything about the actual lockout switch, but there were some instructions on replacing a light in the console of a 70... hopefully that will work for me
