Trying to replace two interior parts on Driver door

Post by mrbluesky »

Hey Guys,
This forum has given me a lot of confidence to tackle many of the things that needed replacement/fixing on my 2002 S60! Im on to another fix or two now and need some advice. My door handle is broken and I would like to replace it, I know that there are two torx screws holding the handle in place but there is also another attachment point on the lower part that I can not figure out how to unscrew/detach. Does anyone know how this part comes off? Also, my side mirror joystick cover is broken. Does anyone know how to replace this part. I have taken the door panel off and noticed that the window adjustment housing may be two parts, do I need to separate the top from the bottom to get to the joystick. Will I need to take the two wiring harnesses off of the housing? Any information would be much appreciated!
Kindly,
mrbluesky

Hey there, looks like this is your first post. Welcome!!

Anyway, I am trying to visualize the attachment point that you speak of but I am having a hard time. Is there anyway you could post a picture for a reference?

As for the mirror adjustment, is it part of the window switches like on the 04 S60?

Thank you!
Andrew, I will upload a photo for your review on the lower attachment point of door handle.
Mirror adjustment is part of the window switches unit.
