V70 Trip Computer goes blank

Most of the time when I turn on the V70, the computer is on, then about 2-5 miles down the road, the screen goes blank. At night, you can still see that it's lit, and if you scroll through the options, it goes blank at the section that is off. So I have to assume that it's still trying to say what it should, perhaps some sort of connection between the computer and the screen?

Any suggestions on what to try/check?

No ideas whatsoever on this? I've checked fuses, etc...but since it's intermittent, I don't think that's the issue.
