can anyone tell me how I can get the climate control head unit out of my 2001 dash? I have to replace one of those $10.00 micro bulbs - please don't tell me that I have to pull the radio.

Oh, my bad .... I had that reversed. If you're only need to remove the climate, you DO NOT need to remove the radio. Sorry for the mixed up.

Basically all you have to do is remove the little trim piece below the climate control ... undo 2 screw ... then carefully remove the climate control panel.

You have to push down and pull the climate control at the same time in order to get it out. It will fight ya for sure. Have fun !
