Non operating fuel guage Topic is solved

Car: Volvo 240.
Year 1992.
Miles 125K

The fuel gauge stopped working.
Does anybody know where is the sending unit? and how can I get access to it?

Fuel sender unit is inside your fuel tank. Removing it can be accessed thru your trunk.

Is the tank behind the vertical wall, or is it under the floor?

Lift up the trunk carpet, right on the floor is a metal plate toward the rear seat. Remove the plate you will then see the pump/sender unit.
