1989 240 DL Wagon Cluster lights not working

Post by ronanfeely »

Hi there, Any advice on how to get the cluster lights to work - assuming that is that the Cluster lights are the heater controls etc. The dash lights (the speedomoter etc) are on but no lights anywhere else. Maybe I have the two terms mixed up ... either way!!! R

it could be that those light bulbs are burned out. Have you ever seen these lights work in the past?

Thanks Chris, I just got the car yesterday to get me to and from work in the winter ... the wife has taken my s70 since the baby came along and I spun her Miata out the other day hence the (new to me) 240.

So, no, I haven't seen them working in the past .. I'm gonna buy the Haynes manual ... hopefully I'll be able to fix this car myself ... the back brakes are shot ... nice!!!

Thanks for the reply.

R.
