Ok guys I have had sucess fixing my 1994 850 using all of your advice. So tonight thought it would be like any other time, few busted knuckles, a couple of frustrating moments then bamb, all in place and fixed. Well it kind of happened that way I was changing out the heater coolant hoses because the bottom one sprung a leak. All went together fine until I started putting the short hose in the bottom hole on the firewall. Had some resistance and then I heard a crack sound, looked at it felt inside hole didn't see anything wrong. So I finished putting the hose in both inlet and outlet. Put everything back together and started filling up with antifreeze. Darn a leak!!! coming out the bottom hose. Did I break or crack the heater core in this area. The reason I'm asking is I am really hoping that there is some connectors behind the plate on the firewall. Please help me and tell me some good news or not!
Thanks,
Heater Hose Replacement Problem
