Correct MAF sensor for 2001 V70 T5

Hi guys, not sure if I goofed here. I just received my new Bosh Maf from Groton but although the year on their listing was right 1999, 2001 the numbers dont match mine on the one I ordered. I am looking at the numbers on the housing tube that connects to the air filter pipe. Mine are 0280218 045 and the new one is 0280218 108. Is that just a part no for the casing and not the actual sensor inside? in which case I could use my old casing and just change the sensor or have I totally F'ed up here.

The numbers you have listed are for the sensor itself. The "045" and the "108" are the same sensor, my guess is one is a newer part number than the other.

OK, thanks for that Otis.
On the Groton site it gives this info, the T5 as 1999, 2001 (not incl 2000 ?) so is that for an earlier type none geartronic V70 T5 model I wonder. Mine technically over here (Aus) is a May 2000 model.

I don't think the T5 variant was offered in 2000 for the V70, thus the reason you aren't seeing it listed. You have the correct MAF.

All OK, fitted it a couple of days ago and what a difference, she know flies
