Electronic reset

Post by Rogali »

Hi,

I'd like to know if anybody has seen the following and/or knows the cause/solution.

After stopping (in a stop sign) and accelerating again (possibly just a coincidence) , the electronic computer, the clock and the mile counter suddenly reset themselves. i.e., the clock went back to 12:00, the partial mileage counter went to 0 (not the total mileage counter, though) and all the functions in the computer (average mile-per-gallon, mile count, etc....) went back to zero. Right after that, everything started counting again normally (from zero, obviously).

Does anybody have any suggestion? Thanks!

Rosa

Probably just a loose connector. Could be anywhere from the battery to the dials though. Check if the average miles per gallon count resets aswell.

yes, the partial mileage counter also reset that time, is it a sign of something?...it didn't happen again though, so far...
