08 S40 Need Reset Sequence

I am having some crazy electrical issues. In dash nav system keeps popping up with a message "Please Insert Disk" and am also having some headlight issues. "Low Beam Failure". Someone mentioned on another forum that there may be a reset sequence that could be followed to reset the "upper computer?" Any other ideas would be appreciated.

Dealer put a new battery in 2 weeks ago and that has not stopped the electrical issues. They seem to be at a loss.
