Nordic Rotors what say you?

Post by strom19 »

I am thinking of using Nordic rotors for a S60 but question whether or not to proceed with the purchase. Has anyone experienced negative results with this brand of rotor? So many manufactures to choose from makes me wonder :?
Thanks!

I used a pair on the back of my XC and perhaps because I did not have a lot of time on them before the car sat for about a week, I got serious rust pits that never polished out (over almost 20K kms). I live by the sea and brake rotors regardless of brand rust overnight, but I've never had a set pit as bad as these. I replaced them with Brembos which are working fine. I haven't had a chance to put a mic to the Nordics yet but if I have enough on them I might try having them re-surfaced and keep them as a set of spares. Don't think I will try and save money by buying Nordics again though.

Cheers,

Bill

I had these on my 850 for over a year and they were great. Never had an issue with them and as far as I know, are still in use.
