No real questions, but here is my engine and v70. I plan on doing the timing belt asap..
I passed the 100K mi mark on the V70..I have done all the fluids since 48K, Mobil 1, oilfilters 2x year all others once a year,,transmission @ 89K Mobil 3309,,,{{done by dealer= new [strut] spring seats, lower bushings, inner tie rods, ft.motor mount, 4 coils, fuel pump recall, thermostat. at 90K I flushed the Power Steering and Brakes, The car came with Volvo spark plugs, I changed them at 60K with Champion as called by the owners manual..RC12PYP, now I am back to new Volvo plugs.. i like the champions better??? ,,,tires with a directional 360 tread wear BF Goodrich seems fine for me in so.cal.
It's been a good auto for me,, intending a few upgrades,, boost controller, fabric wrapping the charge air turbo tube ,
Recently did a LA to LVegas drive 619 mi , 70 mph, 21.5 MPG not as good as wanted, I did use the turbo up to 105 mph a few times..

Yes, do the belt, along with idler pulley and tensioner. They sell kits with all 3. I hear the pulley+tensioner's spinning mechanism can seize and is the main source of failure rather than the belt.
