Where should the temp guage read during colder weather?

Post by wjbender »

I have a 1999 V70 and I see that my temp guage reads about 1/3 of the way up on colder days. when the weather was warmer, it would be about 1/2 way up. Is this normal?

Once warmed up it should be 1/2 . Sounds like the thermostat need to be changed. Easy DIY

Always 1/2. Your t-stat failed open, as it should.

Easy fix:
