I currently have a bronze 2002 volvo s60 (base model-2.4L) approx 70k miles, it does well but I would really like to give it some more juice. I found a bunch of items that caught my interest and need to know if they are compatible, worth the money, not going to harm other operating parts in my volvo, and whether or not the parts will void my car warranty/insurance.
I apologize in advance if I sound uneducated about cars, I dont know much at all but I am trying to learn as much as I can, please answer any questions you can. Please make your own suggestions, I really appreciate it.
-X3 Performance Chip with O2 Sensor Control
-Power Performance Chip X2
The performance chips advertise up to 50 hp increase, should i believe it?

-Electric Super Charger 2.5 PSI- is this a real super charger? or is it different because it is an electric super charger?

-STAGE 1 Universal Turbo Kit-I heard I shouldn't install a turbo to a non-turbo s60 because apparently the engines arent built to withstand the extra pressure...is this so?

-Air Intake Maximizer- will this make any noticeable difference?
http://www.engineperformancechip.com/vo ... mizer-p-11
-Performance Air Intake System-will this make my car sound different? also worried it wont be able to fit under the hood.

-Performance Spark Plugs- are the stock spark plugs worth swapping out and are they easily accessible to swap out? please take a look at the ones I found

All that you put up is bull shit
The most you will get at any reasonable price is maybe 10 hp.
You would be better off selling it and buying a turbo

hey thanks a lot for letting me know before I wasted a lot of money! Its seems like my chances for improving it are not looking so good. Are there any worth while modifications I can make to the base model, other than selling it?

Not really.
You can make it handle better but as for more power, not so much

I would stick to doing a "stage zero". Clean the MAF (maybe get a new one), new good plugs, maybe new coils, seafoam everything, run full syn, keep the air filter clean.
Chips give big gains with turbo cars but there's only so much you can do with an aspirated car. Are you in an area that has 93 octane gas? A 93 octane chip might give you 10-15 hp for not a lot of money. An open intake / exhaust would give you about the same but at the expense of noise. Sometimes a cheap way of getting power is to widen the intake hole in your airbox.
