2004 V40 Headlight Assembly Replacement Procedure

Hello all,

I own a U.S. 2004 V40 wagon and unfortunately, a rock has chipped and broken the driver's side headlight glass. I've purchased a replacement headlight assembly, but am having trouble locating instructions for the replacement procedure. I understand many Volvo models require one to remove the front bumper, or at least partially dislocate it, but when I look at my Volvo, I'm not sure that's necessary. I'd like to understand the complexity of the procedure before attempting myself, vs. just taking it into a repair shop.

Does anyone have or know the instructions to remove the headlamp assembly on this year/model?

Appreciate any help.

The attached instruction is from VADIS:

For the alignment, it is better to have that done with a beam setter.

I just finished downloading the PDF file for headlight assembly replacement procedure and will studied after. I hope i can follow it correctly.
