Is a 98 v70 glt and 99 v70 glt interchangeable?

I would never buy a 99-03 Volvo I have two 98's and a 04 and maybe soon to be a 2012. personally the problems that the 99-03s have are just balhhhhh

---How can you put 99-03 in the same category? You do realize ford turned volvo into a tinker car, and lost all volvo's credibility after 2000. Why do you think ford sold it back to someone who knew how to build a decent car, they even advertise it that way. I personaly wouldnt buy a new volvo quite yet, they havnt worked out the kinks.. Its like the any technology or mechanics.. first generation always sucks, but over time you figure out some of the major problems.. Anything that can brake, will over time, its finding the parts to fix it that sucks, hense my dilemaa. I mean honestly here, your 98 and my 99 are older than a decade.. I've worked on cars that are 05+ that have more expensive, and worse problems than my car does. Any problem with a car is balhhhhhh, who likes to buy a car and have the initial price of buying it be the lowest cost and least effort?

Well I just wanted to have a car I could pick apart incase I needed a certain part, and salvage the good parts and sell them, you know? Its just hard to find a 99' v70 glt thats junked, they all seem to be 98's.

I wouldn't trade my 98 for any other model. And if I were to do it again, I'd get another 98. So much less complicated.

Ford had no influence on these cars until the 2004 1/2 s40 or 2007 v70.

A 2000 is the same as yours - like we said there aren't too many mechanical parts compatible between a 98 and 99. I see all years here in junkyards all the time.
