Where is the OBD-II plug in the V70 2001

Can someone tell me exactly where the OBD-II (On-Board Diagnostic) plug is in the 2001 V70?

It is at the end of the kick panel under the driver's side dash, all the way to the left. You'll see a little latch- it pulls down and it's in there. Good luck and let us know if it's in a different location than a later year V70.

Look inside the arm rest between the two front seats. Open the lid, and inside there should be a plastic housing, open that, and there you will see hte OBD2 plug.

So, was it where I said, or where it is on the 850's and early S/V/C70s...the center arm rest? If it was the later, I wonder when the design changed.
