Anybody tow with an 850?

Follow-up question; how would folks compare the 850's towing ability with a 780?

My old man has a sailboat, I dunno 23-27 feet or so, that he's pulled with the Bertone. Sooner or later that old Swedetalian sled is going to give up the ghost, and he'll be dropping hints like he wants me to put a tow hitch on the 850.

I figure if his redblock HPT can do it, so can the whiteblock LPT, the real question is how does the stock braking setup of a 1989 780 compare to a 97 850 with Zimmerman/Akebono on the front and OEM/PBRdeluxe on the rear.

He does have the Nivomats on the 780; seems like I should consider them on the 850 if I'm going to tow with it - thoughts?
