Power Steering Pump
I just picked up an 05 S60 2.5T AWD and it sounds like the PS pump is whining awefully loud. The dealer is going to take care of it but I was just wondering if this was a common problem? Thanks!

What IS common is they leak fluid at the lower hose and if you're just a bit low on fluid it can whine
First check the fluid level and add if necessary
Then look for a PS fluid leak
Again...

That was the first thing I checked, no leaks, and full of fluid. It has 80,000 miles and had been regularly serviced at the dealer since new. I will post back when they fix it with the repair.
