I have the CEL light on with code P2402, which indicates the LDP is acting up.
I have a subscription to alldata.com and there was a TSB associated with that code, indicating that a software update was needed to upgrade the way the CEM reads for leakage, from current draw to air flow/pressure.
I had the dealer update the software, but the code keeps coming back. So I need to replace the LDP.
Is the replacement from the bottom or is there access from the top, under the rear seats. Also, alldata says to remove the left wheel and the plastic liner, but the LDP is closer to the right wheel.
Any one who has done this replacement with any tips, any volvo techs out there :p
Thanks a bunch

The LDP is accessed from underneath. Your 2001 in profile is still vacuum system isn't it? My recollection is the LDP came out on Bosch P2 in 02 and C70 and Denso P2 in 03.
