when should i change cambelt, currently on 165k, was changed at 108k ??

In the U.S. (I assume yours is the same in the UK) it's at 105k intervals or 7 years. The only exception that i know of here in the states were the pzev models, engine code 64 which called for a 150k interval or 15 years. I don't have any idea if that particular vehicle was even offered in the UK.
