Got the new cruise control stalk (stick, lever, er thingy). Cruise control is now fully functional. The direction signals still work. Everything is swell.
I have the 2000 model Idle control valve. I have found it and cleaned it. The idle is now a more reasonable 900 rpm. Will see if I stop throwing p0507 codes.
Rotors and ceramic pads next. Maybe a new fender, $400 painted and delivered.
I have to admit that other drivers give me room when they see my front fender.

I've got a 1998 S-70 and I've been wondering where the cabin air filter is located. The dang owners manual says nothing and neither do any of the repair manuals. I suspect it need changing as I live down a dusty dirt road.

No., I sure didn't. Sorry it took me so long to get back to this. I went out and looked just yesterday (my Dog thought for sure that I was going some place and insisted on sitting in the auto until it was clear that I wasn't going) I checked under the hood in front of the windshield and across that whole area, NO hatches to open up. So, on the '98 S-70 is it under the dash and behind the glove box ?
I'd sure like to change it.
BTW dang Wal-mart quite carrying ANY filters for the '98 Volvos.
