S40 engine swap (How to remove)

Hi

I just want to know can i remove my 1999 s40 engine out thru the top of the engine bay or does it have to be dropped out thru the bottom and remove the sub frame. If any knows please let me know asap.

It will come out through the top if you put the bonnet (hood) in the service position.

I know this is an old post but I was wondering if the same instructions apply to a 2007 S40
