The tachometer on my 95 850 stopped working properly. Funny thing is that after driving for a while and turning off the engine, once you start up sometimes it works correctly for a while and then stops again. The crankcase sensor is new OEM as well as the cam position sensor. Anyone knows where I should start investigating?

I would start by going to diagnostic mode 3 on the instrument cluster itself. The flywire goes to port A-7 and then press the button three times. At that point all the gauges should read at their midscale positions except for the temp gauge which should go to the bottom of the red.
Beyond that you are going to need to trace things with an ohmmeter to find the bad wiring or a bad connection.
