Mobil 3309 ATF

Post by Dave123 »

Guys - I bought a case of Mobile 3309 from a place listed someplace in this forum but can not seem to find the link again to buy more. Appreciate it if someone can lead me back to the link or simply tell me the name of the company in Columbus, OH that sells the 3309. As always, THANKS!

Not needed unless you have a 2000 with a 5 speed

JRL - Thanks for the reply. I've got left over quarts of 3309 and was going to use it in my '03 S80 that seems to be shifting hard.

Yes he is, but why not suggest which forum is the correct one for him to be in, as well as how to look them up.Some people (most) are asking for help. No need for CAPS either.

Dave, if I could use a synthetic instead of the 3309 I would. My V70R requires the 3309 and the original fill I drained out was lethal! Black mud! I refilled (flushed) with a case of 3309 but am hoping there will be a replacement for 3309 before my next change. You should check your specs for the 80. It might not require 3309.

Guys - Didn't intend to cause such a fuss! I know that I'm in the 850....v70 forum but this is where I originally found the source for the Mobil 3309. The company in Columbus is AV Lubricants, $63/case.

Cheers!

S80 takes 3309 if he has a 5 speed auto which he should unless he has a T6
However Volvo now has authorized Valvoline Max life semi synthe tranny fluid for all gearboxes.
That being said, I have not seen anything from Aisin Warner confirming this but I'm sure the stuff is OK
Unfortunately it would require a full flush no drain and fills. I'm not ready to mix these fluids until I've seen some long tern results

That's a very good retail price, unfortunately with shipping, probably not so great
