trunk lock linkage adjustment

I just replaced the trunk lid, trunk lock and all linkages.

Does anyone know how to adjust the linkages so it works properly ???

I just do it by trial and error. The lock is fairly easy since you can see it.

For the latch I use a large Phillips screwdriver to simulate the catch and adjust it until I can pull the screwdriver through the latch when it is actuated.
