Hey guys, I have a 2001 Non-turbo S60. I'm just curious as to how much it would cost to clean the oil pan and replace the seals/gaskets. I'm trying to stay away from the dealer, I know it's not a complicated job and it's a $15 part. I would do it myself if I had the necessary tools. I just called a local shop and was quoted $600! If you've had this done, let me know what you paid, or what is reasonable. Thanks!

Why are you doing this?
The only reason should be the 0 rings have collapsed and it's more than $15, those need to be done if you're removing the pan

When Idling at 8-900, I have the warning light show up on my console. "No oil pressure, stop engine" or "No oil pressure, stop engine ASAP". This messages does not show up when the engine is cold. Sometimes the rpms drop to like 600 the steering wheel shakes a bit, then it goes up. I realize this is an ETM symptom, but again, this does not happen when it's cold. Which leads me to believe it has to do with the oil viscosity. I've been told it's most likely the seals/gaskets in my oil pan.

As you know it isn't the cost of the parts. It is dirty and time consuming.

Correct, they're called the O rings not the oil pan seal which would be a different part
