Top Speed?
I watched a video on youtube awhile ago of someone hitting 260km/hr(about 160mph) in a C70 Hpt that was supposedly stock. I was wondering if anyone could confirm the top speed with and with out the speed limiter which I believe limits the top speed to 224 km/hr(140 mph). The fastest I've mine it going is 210 km/hr, the car was willing to go faster but I wasn't. Also if anybody wants to post top speeds of other models it would be more than welcomed.

HPT are 155 but can be tire dependent and LPT are 130. This is the settings I've seen in car configuration info when C70's were new. The European models may have some different limits.
I can confirm a chipped C70 T5 with no limiter set up correctly can hit 160mph. I've had my Chipped 850 T5 upto 150mph [it's illegal so don't do it also the car began to get very unstable so needs some suspension work]

Absolutely; My stock 98 S70 T-5M was floored at 149-150 mph and still had gas pedal...driven on the German Autobahn. After Tuned ECU, exhaust, and Michelins PS2's, it rock well over 160 mph, no redline, and room to go on the Autobahn. By the way, I still was passed by a few Audi A8, Mercedes, and definately Porches.

Volvo 850 T5 wagon with Wothrline ECU mod and TME exhaust - result was 258km/h (according to GPS) on 205/45/17 tires on Titan wheels. Maybe it could've gone even faster, but I didn't have enough free Autobahn to try.
Car was fully loaded though, passenger and all the stuff for a camping trip.
The euro spec cars are usually not limited since they only hit 240km/h (for an old T5) in stock setup, so there was no need for a speed limiter in the ECU.
As soon as I find the leak in the vacuum system I might try again ^^
