At some point, with that mileage you'll probably be needing new struts and shocks -- c. $600 worth of parts.

thanks again folks! Definitely time for a new mechanic. Nice to know she can drive it too, even for a long highway excursion? 1000 miles?

As I stated, I don't push oil leaks. You might want to keep that car around town. We call them "Town Cars".
