oil light

I have a '94 850 Wagon with 116 000 km, I am no mechanic, but my oil light came on accompanied by a noisy engine. I checked the oil level and if anything it's over the top after adding a pint. I therefore assume that the oil pressure has dropped for another reason. Can anyone help?

I have the same problem, think it's the oil pump tube seal.
