Strange Things Happening- '90 240 DL

1) Two power windows have stopped working.
2) Battery light on dash will come on, but not fully, a dim light. No signs of battery or alternator troubles.
3) Driver's side door is stuck, handle will not open it.

It could be wiring on the first two, it looks like someone ripped out the original wiring and cobbled it back together, but suggestions are greatly appreciated.

"Wow, how are you supposed to fix a broken door pull when you can't get the door open?"

Can you open the door from the inside? If so, it's usually an adjustment of the linkage. Remove the map pocket, arm rest, lock button, and then the door panel. You'll see a threaded rod passing through a cylinder retained by hooks attached to the outer door handle. Lift the rod, and if the door opens, then the linkage has stretched. Lift the cylinder off the hooks, and spin it down the threads to shorten the pull and replace. Try the outer door handle. If it opens and closes normally, it's fixed. If it won't close, you shortened the rod too much. If it won't yet open, you didn't shorten it enough.
Frequently wrong, never in doubt.
