Dealer offer

My dealer is offering the following. I have a 2000 V70 5 spd with 113,500 miles. First 100,000 under warranty now I do it. Anyone think this is legit - I have no problems at this time. Timing belt and all done by dealer at 95k.

"Starting May 8th through May 31 2006, Volvo of Lisle is offering our Fuel Induction Cleaning Service with a FREE tank of gas.
After approximately 20,000 miles, your vehicles fuel efficiency can drop up to 20%. This is caused by accumulated deposits on fuel injectors, intake valves, ports and inside the combustion chamber. This fuel loss efficiency over the next 20,000 miles can cost you from $600- $800!
With our Fuel Induction Cleaning Service, we will remove the accumulated deposits and improve your gas mileage. The cost of the service is $220. Once the service is performed, we will fill your tank with premium fuel (up to $45.00) a 20% savings!"

They have got to be kidding!!

I have never seen such a crock of s&*t. Ask them where they got their data and have them show you the studies that were done to support the claim.

Steer clear of this one.

Throw a container of injector cleaner into the tank and then give it a long hot run up and down the freeway for an hour or so, you'll probably come up with a better result !!!
