We are trying to access, ok, get OUT the CEM in REdDevil's xc90 and we have it all exposed and all the plugs undone but cannot get it to come free.
We see and are able to get to one of the bolts holding the bracket in place but the other one is not accessible. It all looks really simple under there and we can't find how to get the thing out!
Pics or detailed instructions please. And yes manyyyyyyy searches have been done.

According to VADIS, removing the module requires a tool to unlock it. Please look at the attachments, is this what you need?
Sorry, I do not have pictures. I still hope this will help you figure a workaround how to get in unlocked without using the Volvo special tool
