Welcome aboard, mistley.
Have you ruled out air getting into the fuel line; what is the condition of the filter?
Also, I am having trouble decyphering the Model Year of your turbo Diesel; could you specify that again?
Thanks

So, it is a 2003 V40 1.9 TD, correct?

Hi Mistley,
After you've ruled out fuel filter and air ingress into the fuel lines (this is vital for a Diesel), here is a suggested list of what to do next:
1. you want to clean the MAF sensor
2. check for vacuum leaks
3. inspect the PCV oil trap (or verify there is vacuum in the crankcase)

Please post back what you found.
Thanks
