Hello MVS,
I noticed that my fuel gauge isn't reading my fuel level correctly. Recently i removed the fuel pump assembly to siphon some gas out. Apperently, I didn't put it in the correct position to properly read the fuel level. Now with that said, i seen a mark on the top of the pump assembly. Should that point a certain way, or is there other way or other markings to properly read the fuel level.
Any help or advice would work.....Thank you all.
Sincerely;
novice backyard mechanic.
Fuel pump assembly not in correct position.

Two marks on the pump should align with two marks on the tank:
