Rear Cam Seal
Would a rear cam seal leak so that it would wrap behind the motor and get on the catalytic convertor?

Absolutely. That thing's blown clean out.
I had oil dripping halfway down my car.

Each cam has one rear cam seal. There are two cams, so two rear cam seals.
One rear cam seal is under the distributor, the other rear cam seal is under the camshaft position sensor (the CPS).
If you install them yourself, make sure you don't push them in too far. When yo are all finished the cam seals are supposed to be flush with the outer mating surface, not recessed.
